Q: I'm an artist/musician/filmmaker/performer; how do I find out more about the art scene in Milwaukee?

A: Join! We invite you to create your own profile, become a member, list your own classifieds join the Listserv which allows you to post your events, calls for entry, audition notices, spaces for rent, materials needed/for sale, and keep current on what's happening. You can also find the Milwaukee Artist Resource Network on Facebook Twitter and Flickr.

Q: I've been a member of the listserv for years? Am I eligible for the member discounts and exhibition opportunities?

A: The listserv is a free service of MARN. You do not need to be a paid member to be part of the listserv. However, listserv membership does not make you a member of MARN. MARN membership starts at $35 per year and opens you to a number of members only benefits. Check out our member details on the join page.

Q: I'm not sure if my membership is current. How can I find out?

A: E-mail membership @ marnonline.com

Q: I'd like to use the tools at the resource center. What do I need to do?

A: Because all of our tools have been generously donated we ask that you go through an orientation session to ensure you know how to use the tools and don't break them. Orientation is held the first Saturday of each month and alternates between a 10am start and a 1pm start. Call 414-732-2121 for details on the next session.

Membership

I'd like to get more involved. How can I do that?

MARN has a number of ways you can get involved. Whether it's at one of our monthly programs, a coffee & critique session or volunteer work we're sure you'll meet new people through any of these opportunities.

*PLUS when you volunteer with MARN we pay you back with MARNmoney! MARNmoney can be used towards membership fees and all our professional development workshops. And volunteering can be anything from gallery sitting to distributing outreach materials to helping at one of our many events throughout the year. Want to help?
