The Milwaukee Artist Resource Network (MARN) has partnered with Flipeleven Creative to bring you a wonderful collection of MARNmovies events for Spring 2013!

Flipeleven Creative is a Milwaukee agency specializing in digital strategy, web design and video. You might recognize their name from their successful kickstarter project in October of 2012 where they raised enough money to blow up a car for the movie “The Nugget” which raised awareness for filmmaking in Milwaukee.

MARNmovies is a monthly workshop and screening series and each event has four parts:

Part 1: Learn about the craft of filmmaking from an industry professional in a 30 minute workshop
Part 2: Watch short films made by local filmmakers
Part 3: Watch a feature film that illustrates what was taught in Part 1
Part 4: Head to a nearby establishment (tba) to socialize and discuss

We are honored to have Flipeleven Creative’s Director of Photography, Jon Klein, as coordinator for the Spring 2013 MARNmovies events.
