Open Portfolio Review

MARN Group Portfolio review led by Miranda Levy

We invite you to apply to participate in a group portfolio review led by Miranda Levy. We will be gathering on May 8th from 6 to 9 pm at the Marshall Building (room TBA) to discuss the work of six to eight artists and designers, who will each offer two works for discussion. This will be a great opportunity to have your work reviewed by a professional fashion designer, as well as gain exposure to the practices of your peers.

Miranda Levy is perhaps best known as a contestant of season 12 of the television show Project Runway but has been working as a fashion designer in Milwaukee since 2009 at local venues including the Milwaukee Art Museum, Pritzla Building, Flying Car MKE, and numerous gala and charity events. She served eight years in the US army, then graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee with a BFA in fibers and photography.

Registration fee is $15 for MARN members and $20 for the general public. To register, please email 2 to 3 work samples and a one paragraph bio to beforeMay 3rd. We will be accepting participants on a first-come-first-serve basis.

Group Critique led by INOVA Director Sara Krajewski

MARN was pleased to offer a group critique led by INOVA Director Sara Krajewski. Seven artists work was reviewed by Krajewski through group discussion was had.

Portfolio Review with MAM Director Dan Keegan


November 12, 2013

MARN was pleased to host a Portfolio Review with Milwaukee Art Museum director Dan Keegan at the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design. This review had two components, including a facilitated small group peer review with Brad Anthony Bernard, and an individual 15-minute critique with Mr. Keegan.

9 artists were scheduled for the review. Mr. Keegan met with each of the 9 artists individually for a 15-minute conversation about their visual art portfolio.
