Artists needed to create Fairy Tale-inspired pieces | Your work can help make wishes come true!

Make-A-Wish Wisconsin is seeking artwork to support our 2013 Spring Gala fundraiser. This year's fairytale-inspired theme demands work that will evoke classic storybook illustration styles, from basic line art to oil paintings to watercolors to woodcuts. We have a need for a variety of styles across multiple media types, so if you have an interest in contributing, we'd love to talk with you.

What we can offer to all participating artists is recognition in our program book, within the night’s A/V presentation, and on the event’s website (with links to their online portfolio, if applicable). Our event is attended by nearly 600 Milwaukee-area business and community leaders, and would be excellent exposure for any area artist looking to get their work in front of potential patrons.

We are open to discussing payment/pricing options with individual artists based on the strength of their work and the pieces they’re interested in working on, always with an eye toward maximizing the amount of funds that will go towards granting wishes.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Since 1980, Make-A-Wish has enriched the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work.

Founded in 1984, Make-A-Wish Wisconsin is part of the largest wish-granting charity in the world, with 62 chapters in the United States and its territories and 37 international affiliates spanning five continents. The chapter has granted more than 4,600 wishes since its inception.
