Development and Exhibition Coordinator - Redline Milwaukee | The Development and Exhibition Coordinator is a part-time position working on average 20 hour per week, reporting to the Executive Director. Saturday hours are required.

The Development and Exhibition Coordinator is a part-time position working on average 20 hour per week, reporting to the Executive Director. Saturday hours are required.

SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
75% of this position will focus on duties related to Development. Utilizing e-Tapestry software to enter and maintain donor records including contact lists of past, current and prospective donors. Solicit and acknowledge donations, prepare marketing materials and correspondence regarding membership and fundraising programs. Assist the Executive Director in grant preparation including grant writing, preparing and properly submitting all proposals for appropriate grants.

25% of this position will focus on coordinating Exhibitions. With the assistance of Exhibition committee the coordinator will review proposals and assist in planning the exhibition calendar and public programs. Communicate with artists to facilitate exhibit agreements. RedLine Milwaukee hosts 4 exhibitions per year collaboratively working with artists to exhibit artwork and or installations. The artists are primarily responsible for installation, however RedLine can offer moderate assistance via resident’s community service hours and or if funding is available to hire professional installers. The Exhibition Coordinator primary responsibilities include developing exhibition schedules including install and de-install dates, and public events. The Coordinator will collaborate with the Education Manager to include education programs. The Coordinator will execute marketing plans both for Development and Exhibitions.

Overall duties include database management, donor development, relationship building, event planning and coordinating, grant writing, exhibition coordination, and marketing. This position will recruit and manage up to four interns and 2 volunteers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in a non-profit development office is preferred.
• Experience working with donor software.
• Ability to organize and present data accurately and concisely.
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the nonprofit sector.
• Exhibition planning experience preferred.
• Superior communication skills, both written and verbal with proven ability to write clear, structured persuasive proposals and solicitations.
• Strong database, marketing and editing skills.
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to relate well to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
• Must maintain and exhibit the highest standards of ethical conduct.
• Working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office, Google Drive, Graphic and Social Media programs.
• Ability to manage interns and volunteers in planning and implementing projects.
• Ability to work in a timely and efficient manner, developing and managing numerous tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to personally and professionally represent the organization

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
• College degree is preferred
