Teaching Artists this Summer! | Call for Artists
JOIN US AS A WILSON CENTER TEACHING ARTIST!As a leading multi-disciplinary cultural arts center, the Sharon Lynne Wilson Center for the Arts located in Brookfield’s Mitchell Park is proud to nurture lifelong learning for all ages. Innovative programs and classes in our Lynn Chappy Arts Education Wing are designed to offer students of all ages and abilities the opportunity to connect with other artists and cultures, expand their perspective, and tap into their creative side.
SUMMER CLASS PROPOSAL INFORMATION:
• Our Summer Class Guide will include class offerings from June through August 2019.
• Artists may submit multiple proposals for classes or workshops; each class should be submitted separately.
• A high-quality image for use in marketing your class will be required along with your class proposal; proposals without images may be rejected. PLEASE NOTE: All images MUST adhere to copyright laws, as they will appear in digital and/or print marketing materials; please submit only your own images or ones that you have permission to use. (Our online submission form does not allow for images to be uploaded with your proposal; images should be sent by email to education@wilson-center.com with your name and the name of the proposed class in the subject of the email.)
• To be considered for our Summer Class Guide, proposals should be submitted no later than 5pm on Friday, March 1, 2019.

DEADLINE FOR PROPOSALS IS MARCH 1, 2018

Artists will be contacted with acceptance or rejection of class proposals within two weeks of submission deadline. If accepted, the Wilson Center will follow up with a formal contract.
