The exhibition will be on display through Friday, May 4th. Music for the reception will be presented by pianists, Patti Strong from 4:30pm to 5:30pm and Brittany Seifert from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. This exhibition is generously sponsored by Margaret Wittkopp/Veritas Financial Services and Wittkopp Funeral & Cremation Services. The Wisconsin Designer Crafts Council, founded in 1916, is dedicated to fostering excellence in Fine Crafts and the support of the Artists who create it. Through shows, exhibitions, workshops and on-line, WDCC works to elevate standards and increase public awareness of design and craftsmanship. Their flagship event is the Morning Glory Fine Crafts Show, held the second weekend in August on the grounds of the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts. WDCC encourages individual expression, vitality and aesthetic growth opportunities for fellowship, acquisition of skills, and competitive exhibitions. Every two years, the WDCC organizes a juried exhibition of the best examples of Fine Craft created by the members and presented in partnership with a regional university or Arts Center.
