  • “Once Upon A Time”Once Upon A Time

    10 x10" collage on canvas made for the Binders Guild show "Books Unbound" at the Marian Gallery, Mount Mary College, Milwaukee, Oct. 31- Nov. 27, 2010. The central image is from a 1920s portrait in my collection of vintage photos. Wisconsin Regional Art Program show at the Greendale Public Library, Greendale WI, August 2011, where it one a State Exhibit Award. 2012 Annual State Exhibition, Wisconsin Regional Art Program, Pyle Center, Madison WI, Aug 10-Sep 23, 2012, where it won the John Barton Award. Selected for the Wisconsin Regional Artists Association show at the Museum of Wisconsin Art in West Bend in 2013.

  • “Blue Monday”Blue Monday

    11" x 14" collage on canvas with paper & acrylic paints. "Blue Monday" was laundry day, named for the blueing agent added to the water to counteract the yellowing of fabric by the soap. In the background of the picture is a copy of a ticket from the American Palace Steam Laundry, Buffalo, N. Y., dated 1907.

  • “Long Lost Love”Long Lost Love

    Mini-art quilt approx. 4.5" x 6.5" Raw-edge fused applique with free-motion quilting using hand-painted and commercial print cottons. This is one of a set of five art quilts that I made for the 14th annual Dia de los Muertos exhibit at the Maude Kerns Art Center in Eugene, Oregon, where they were displayed in October and November 2007. This piece was also in the show "Books Unbound" at the Marian Gallery, Mount Mary College, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in November 2010. It's now in my Etsy store
