artist statement

In my earlyest work I focused on the ancient architecture and spatial relationship.
More specifically the" Three Architectural Orders " an acrylic painting size102X35, one of the series of three related paintings "Orders I ", 59X78 and " Order II" that represent vertical and horizontal lines as a background of the ancient orders of architecture—the Doric, Ionic, and Corinthian—originated in Greece, reflection of the past in continuous cultural relationship with present and future.
My actual work define travel photography, flowers as art, mix media, spiritual paintings and poetry.
My last work in progress reflect an emotional stage of my life. It includes a poem and paintings dedicated to my twin girls in the first two months of their lives.
In my art work in general, I tent to travel from bright colors to contrasts, as well as firm lines, related to an existing life in a continuous process of change.
