artist bio

I am an eternal optimist and my art represents my optimistic beliefs. My acrylic paintings often shows an idealized version of life. Simply put my artistic mission/vision is "feel to reveal," look for the beauty, love, laughter, light and paint it.

My art work is more representational than in the past. Since it's only been a few years working full-time as an artist after taking a 30 year break, I thought it was a good idea to re-establish the basic skills and confidence before stylizing.

I'm an artist living and working in West Allis, Wisconsin. Married with two grown children.

I trained at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design (MIAD) in the late 1980’s. No degree but a focus on drawing and painting while I attended. I stepped away from art for almost 30 years but I'm back now and loving every minute.
