artist bio
I am a multi-media artist. I have studied in Ceramics, Kiln firing, Watercolor, Acrylic paints, & Oil Pastels. I have made dolls, toy demos, plaster reliefs, and hand-painted/self fired ceramic tiles for installation.
For the last 7 years, I have been painting with acrylic, mixing multimedia and using lights on canvas. I have been showing my work through local galleries since 1998.
My studies started in my home state of Southern California and moved to Milwaukee to begin my art career.
Tile art installations; Mars Hotel a Tavern in Milwaukee, and private residences in Milwaukee and Bali Indonesia.
Art collaborations include Broke Down Palace, a tavern in Milwaukee, WMSE Art and Music2017, 2018, & 2019. MAM House of Cards.

artist statement
From my early childhood when asked what I was going to be, it was always the Artist.
I'm in love with color, and I want the viewer to not only see, but to feel my work.
Bringing the heavy mediums above the canvas adds the extra "I want to touch this".
I use movement with my forms, and like to make the background as important as the subject matter.
